Hi,

I see there are two JTAG ports on NXP Goldbox, please confirm if Goldbox is compitable with Lauterbach to debug both A53 and M7 cores? Please share the useful links.

Thanks,

Bala

Hello Bala,

There are actually three related connectors for the debugger. I guess you intension is to debug the S32G controller only and not the additional SJA1110 controller on the board. In this case you can ignore J44 (10 pin connector) and use for debugging J48 (20 pin connector) with a standard Arm IDC20A debug cable. With the debugger connected to this port you can use the scripts being part of your TRACE32 installation:

CD.DO ~~/demo/arm/hardware/s32g2/s32g-vnp-evb/*

and select the right debug use case for your selve. If you want to use additionally an external trace tool, an HSSTP preprocessor or a Power trace Serial can be additionally connected to J57 (40 pin AURORA header).

Best Regards,
Steffen.
