When using LLCE and PFE in S32G, there are two questions:

1.For Ethernet-to-CAN conversion, what characteristics of the Ethernet frame determine that the Ethernet data should be converted to CAN data?

2.For CAN-to-Ethernet conversion, how is VLAN configured?

Hello, @liu823230301

Thanks for your reply

As far as I know, any of the default FW could not support this feature, a possible way for supporting it is that using the FDK to modify the default FW to implement the features you need.

FDK is a premium software, it is suggested contacting your NXP representative/FAE for further information.

Hello, @liu823230301

Thanks for your post.

1.  Currently there are 2 formats supported: AVTP Control Format, and User Datagram Protocol (UDP). so the corresponding header would be parsed.

2. With the default LLCE FW, the user cannot encapsulate CAN2ETH messages with VLAN ID in LLCE, regardless of UDP or AVTP type.

Which firmware version supports VLAN TAG encapsulation/decapsulation?
