LLCE CAN Enable failed on S32G274ARDB2

Hi,

Enabling LLCE CAN from Yocto，including  dte.bin frpe.bin ppe_tx.bin ppe_rx.bin in conf/local.conf file

but use  command "ip link set up llcecan0 type can bitrate 500000 dbitrate 5000000 fd on "   failed

Cannot find device "llcecan0"

Did you find the solution for above issue? Because I am also getting this error and currently clueless how to resolve it.

Not sure which BSP version you are using. Assuming you are using LinuxBSP36CD, download LLCE FW 1.0.4 and edit the local.conf as described in chapter 12 of S32G2_LinuxBSP_36.0_CD_User_Manual.pdf. Then run bitbake and you will get the sdcard image which LLCE is enabled. Booting the SD image, you should be able to configure llcecan0 by using ip command as described in this ticket... If you fail this, the LLCE drivers might not be inserted somehow. Run lsmod command and check if the relevant drivers (i.e. llce_can.ko, llce_mailbox.ko and llce_core.ko) are inserted. If they are not inserted yet, use insmod command to insert them.

I am using S32G274A_LinuxBSP28.0.0.

Can you please tell me from where exactly can I download the Flexera LLCE firmware? It would be very helpful if you cound provide me link or something precise.

I logged in to the account but I could not found the firmware package mentioned in "S32G274A_LinuxBSP28.0.0_User_Manual.pdf" Chapter 5 section 5.1.

Hi @abhinavdube ,

Please note the LinuxBSP28.0 is quite old version hence it requires very old LLCE FW (i.e. ver 0.9.1), which might be unreacheable by your account. Using recent BSP version is the simple way to play LLCE with Linux.
If your account has the access right for such old LLCE FW, you will reach it by the steps below on nxp.com.

The S32G2_LinuxBSP31.0_User_Manual.pdf is describing LLCE_1.0.3_CD1 as the prerequisites as follows.
