Flashing the CentOS AutoSD on NXP RDB3

Hi,

I build the AutoSD image and flashed the same on SD card. After insert the SD card, I set the SD card boot setting on NXP board and after restart the board I am receiving the below error on HW terminal:

** Invalid partition 1 **
Couldn't find partition mmc 0:1
PFEng firmware file 'mmc@0:1:s32g_pfe_class.fw' loading failed: -1

Found PFE version 0x0101 (S32G3)

Thanks for your post.

The NXP BSP for S32G products has been built and tested using the GCC for ARM64 cross-compiler included in the Yocto distribution. All the steps described in the BSP UM have been run and validated on Ubuntu-20.04 LTS.

As a result, the BSP is based on Yocto Rootfs and/or Ubuntu, CentOS is beyond our support scope.

Regarding to your log, seems that the uboot cannot find correct firmware and binaries that used for booting the Linux, again, we suggest using the rootfs/images built from NXP BSP, if you have to use the CentOS or other distribution, you may carefully study the code and make corresponding modifications based on current release to boot the board correctly.

I have flashed the AutoSD with NXP BSP kernel image on NXP RDB3 board and image is booting successfully. I have connected ethernet cable to P4 port and assigned the below IP:
192.168.1.1 (On NXP board)
192.168.1.3 (On desktop)
I unable to ping to HW from desktop and vice versa. Please provide your suggestion to solve this issue.

hi Anand ,

may I know how you resolved above Partition issue? . I followed and did Optional: Build the NXP vendor kernel, also but still same error.
