Cannot wake up from RTC0

Hi Sir,

I run the below command to try suspend/resume function.

echo;date;echo; rtcwake -d rtc0 -m mem -s 180; echo;date

My board can suspend successfully, but it cannot wake up after 180 seconds.

In contrast, the RDB3 is able to perform this function.

Could you share some experiences on how to investigate why my board is unable to do so?

Best regards,

Jeff Huang

Hi, @Jeff-CF-Huang

Thanks for your reply.

Since the system could resume by other wakeup resource, it is possibly no issues on suspend process, would you please help to rebuild the TFA adding these parameters"S32_USE_LINFLEX_IN_BL31=1 DEBUG=1"

Disable the PFE, then test it again, we can continue supporting it with the logs shared.

Hi Chenyin,

We are developing our product based on BSP40. It can be awakened by an external RTC (RTC1) or by other GPIOs.

During our suspend/resume tests, we observed that RTC0 continues counting while the system is suspended.

Therefore, we believe the issue may reside in the wake-up source configuration.

Hello, @Jeff-CF-Huang

Furthermore, would you help to share the full log of STR test on your custom board?(from boot up to the end)

Sometimes, maybe the board stopped at certain phases while entering the suspend, thus could be resumed.
