Hello NXP Support,

I am trying to build the Real Time Bootloader (Bootloader_S32G3XX_ASR_4.4_M7) in EB Tresos following the Bootloader-User_Manual.pdf in GoldVIP-S32G3-1.11.0.

On page 18, it instructs to:

  1. Import the bootloader project from GoldVIP_install_path\realtime\s32g399ardb3\bootloader\workspace\Bootloader_S32G3XX_ASR_4.4_M7
    • Select File -> Import.
    • Search for Existing Projects into Workspace option and click on Next.
    • Choose Select root directory, then click Browse button and add the above mentioned workspace.

I have successfully imported the project following these steps. However, I encountered an issue when trying to Load Configuration by right-clicking on the imported project.

The specific problem I am facing is shown in below screenshot.

Could you please provide guidance on how to resolve this issue?

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Hi,

These errors are related to EB Tresos not finding the corresponding modules. Have you copied the plugins available under the Bootloader > eclipse folder? These are shown below:

Once you copy them, you need to restart EB Tresos, since they will not be taken into account until EB Tresos has been restarted.

Please, let us know.

Thank you,

I copied the plugins available under the Bootloader > eclipse folder, and re-started EB Tresos.

Some issues have been fixed

But now I see the following three errors:

Could you please suggest how to fix these as well?

Thanks and Best Regards

Hi,

These plugins are related to the SAF or SDP packages from NXP. If you do not have any of those available, you should be able to remove them from that same window and continue without SAF/SPD support.

If you are looking into using them, you should also add the SAF/SPD plugins to your plugins folder of Tresos.

Please, let us know.

Thanks for quick reply,

I've installed the S32G_SPD_2.0.0, and I can see the following plugins installed in the SPD folder below.

However when I load configuration in the EB tresos, I get below errors again.

Is this part of SAF package? where can I get SAF package?

Best Regards

Hi,

Thanks for your feedback. That is correct. The modules that are still missing are related to the SAF package.

If you are looking into using SAF, then help us contacting your local NXP FAE/DFAE/representative, since it is a premium package.

Please, let us know.
