After upgrading from BSP30 to recently released BSP31 for S32G, the pfe recipe points to a not (yet) committed revision in pfeng repository. Same unreleased revision is also referenced by libfci_0.9.6.bb.

Am I missing some step here or is the driver not yet released to that repo. What is the timeline to commit it?

@jpetrous tagging you since most commits in pfeng repo were done by you.

Automotive BSP 31 has not been officially released. Early code drops currently available
through GIT repositories may have certain issues. Full support in the Community
will be available when the official BSP 31 release is made. Until then, our
main recommendation is, stay with BSP 30.0. A limited support to BSP 31 code
drops can be requested via tickets, our answers depend on availability of the SW development
team members for internal discussion.

Best Regards,
Platon
