Hello,

I need to install the packages dedicated to the T-Box development, it is the first bring-up for the "Helloworld"
Not sure which packages I have to install and how ( I mean which SDKs, which BSPs)
Appreciate any help

Thanks

For example in the Getting started document for the T-Box
it refers to this package

But I'm not sure where can I get this package.

Please follow this guide:

https://www.nxp.com/webapp/Download?colCode=TP-S32K3-T-BOX-SW-ENABLEMENT-GUIDE

There's detailed description. S32DS 3.4 and RTD 1.0.0 is needed.

“Getting Started with S32K3 using S32DS at the hello world project Training Presentation” document is general one, not directly for T-Box.

Hi @Ahmed_Saber

just follow the document step by step. It shows which packages are needed exactly:

By the way, it's not called BSP here but rather RTD (Read Time Drivers).

Hi Lukas,

Again, I don't mind the instructions mentioned in the enablement guide, but as you said earlier it is something common for the S32K3, but what I'm seeking is something for the T box board
I have installed the DS3.4 with the mentioned packages
Now I need to proceed with a prepared package for the T box to not invent the wheel
As I can see here: https://www.nxp.com/design/designs/s32k3-automotive-telematics-box-t-box-reference-design-board:S32K...
There a BSP package, in my opinion, this is can be used as a base for SW building for the T box ready for the components on the board ( Trcvs...etc)

But the problem is, once I import this BSP as a project, I got this error message

 Hope you get my point.

I tested it on my side. I have almost the same SW configuration here (only a few more packages which should not be important here), I downloaded and imported S32K3_T_BOX_BSP.zip and I can open the configuration tool and I can compile the project.

Is that really original project from S32K3_T_BOX_BSP.zip? Have you made any changes there?

Hi @Ahmed_Saber

let me check this with owners of the T-Box. I can see two getting started documents and SW enablement guide and all of them says something different. I'm sure that specific RTD version needs to be used.

Generally, the RTD can be downloaded from S32K3 Standard Software Package. The link can be found here in the mentioned document:

this will redirect you here (RTD link highlighted)

I will let you know later which version should be used exactly.

And notice that this document provides more details about the installation:

Lukas
