S32DS3.4 + debug probe not able to restart/relaunch a process

Using S32G2 CM7 cores with debug probe and latest DS3.4.

When I'm debugging, I would like to restart the running process without terminating and relaunch the debugger (which will force code to be re-downloaded, etc).

Using the DS IDE, there is a 'restart' button on the debugger, as well as 'relaunch' menu entry.  It allows either of these to be selected, but they break the debug session and do not have the intended affect.  I can also hang DS sometimes using these, requiring a full restart.

Is this behavior intended to be supported with S32G2 Cortex-M using S32 debug probe?
