S32DS v3.4 + SDK RTM 4.0.2: example project not getting compiled

Hello Folks!

I have an evaluation board for S32K142.

Downloaded and installed S32 Design Studio for S32 Platform v3.4.

Downloaded and installed S32K SDK RTM 4.0.2.

Opened the Hello World example project from the SDK.

After attempting to build the project, getting this error message:

Please suggest what one should do additionally to compile the SDK example projects. Thanks!

Hello @abhishek_kulkar,

How did you install S32K SDK RTM 4.0.2? Did you use S32DS Extensions and Updates or did you use Install New Software?

If you use S32DS Extensions and Updates (strongly encouraged option), then it would have required you to also install S32K1xx development package. This development package is required to add necessary support for S32K1xx devices to S32 Design Studio. If you did not install this package, then the build would not work for the example projects.
