Hi, I want to build powerpc-gcc from source on macOS. After I download the source package, I don't know how to do with it. Can anyone help me?

The source package is from Compiler and Build Tools Source Package – GCC v4.9.4 for S32 Design Studio for Power Architecture® 2....

Hi,

unfortunately MacOS is not supported patform by S32 Design studio and related tools. You can build GNU gcc as any other application from source. But I'm afraid that this is not easy task and definitely out of scope of this community space. You can find some maybe useful info for example

here - Building a Cross Compiler for PowerPC Macs - Blzut3's Weblog

Is there a reason NXP doesn't release at least a half working set of scripts instead of fulfilling the legal obligations of GPL (but not the spirit of it)?
