We are considering purchasing a batch of S32Z280-400EVB development boards. Before that, we would like to inquire if the development board supports trace functionality?
We saw on the NXP official website that S32Z280-400EVB seems to provide similar hardware support. What is the name of this tracking technology(CoreSight or eTPU trace, or something else)?
We plan to develop Trace related features on TAKING or Lauterbach TRACE32 in the future. Do NXP technical support personnel know successful implementation cases under the corresponding debugger?

Thanks for reaching out to us. About your questions, the S32Z2280-400EVB supports TRACE functionality with Lauterbach and TRACE32 software.
About the Aurora connector, you can learn all the details in its respective section in the S32Z2 reference manual [starting in page 7304, S32Z2 Reference Manual, Rev. 5, 2025-01-28]:
About the successful implementation, from the table you are attaching, I would conclude that we use stm_trace, since the S32Z uses ARM R and M cores. For all the details I would recommend contacting Lauterbach support.
