Hi Team,

I am using S32 Debug probe with S32R EVK, I use the CCS.exe to check the S32 probe can connect to S32R CPU or not from CCS console window.

below is the image, when I tried to check it.

"JTAG DAP ID is invalid". can anyone give me some suggestion on how to solve this S32 Debug Probe issue.

Thanks in advance..

Hello Praveen,

This script will be deprecated in future release. It has already been replaced by the 'Test Connection' buttion in the Debug Configurations menu. It was not maintained so it reports this invalid state. It is not a symptom of any other issue.

Best Regards,

Mike

Thanks for your reply. I used to check the 'Test Connection' button. It shows "The Board is Connected". But still I am not able to debug the with the probe, so I tried with that method to check the JTAG scanning.

Thanks.

Hello,

Sorry for the long delay, is your EVB setup to boot from Linux BSP? If so, please change the setup so it does not boot Linux OS. If Linux BSP is running when S32 Debugger is trying to connect via JTAG, it could be interrupted. The S32 Debugger does not yet have Linux-aware debugging enabled.

Best Regards,

Mike
