demo9s12xdt512 - output on GPIO

Hi...

i am using demo9s12xdt512 board with CW4.5.....i want to send 01 to portB or portA.....and want to see this data on digital CRO......how can i see this data on port.....i am unable to glow Led without using switch......

plss help me....i have put so many que...bt i didn't get any answer......if any body s working on this board plss help me ..

i used DDRB_DDRB4=1  bt i didn't get anything.....

DDRB_DDRB4 = 1 configures PortB4 as an output rather than an input. To select what to drive onto this pin PORTB_PB4 should be used.
