Hi,

I have a question about the marking of S9S12VR48AF0VLF.

I noticed the final letter of marking can be different

Could you help to advise what the marking information stand for?

Attached picture for your reference.

Thank you.

Hi Lama,

Noted.

Is it normal that chips with two different marking are mixed in one tray?

Best Regards,

Robert

Hi,

The CTLROH a CTLROG are valid trace codes for S9S12VR48AF0VLF.

This is an official  MATERIAL MARKING FORMAT of this device

(F)S912

VR48AV

MMMMM

ALYWZ

The problem is space on the MCU and a new transformation code for S9S devices which added letters into a part number. The F0 means the mask set 0N59H. The size of package and packing type is clear from physical existence of delivery so the only important value to mention is a temperature range. Moreover, there is only 48 LQFP package produced.

It looks like production decided to use change from S9S12VR48AF0VLF to S912VR48AV and next line for mask set 0N59H. Finally it is the same device even "confusing" numbers are printed if you are not familiar with background. This is not first time they decided to do such compression because of printing and manufacturing possibilities and internal standards.

Best regards,

Ladislav
