I am unable to install "CodeWarrior Development Studio for Freescale HCL12(X) Microcontrollers, v5.0" in windows 7.
Please let me know whether it could be possible to install or I may need any patches in doing so.

V5.1 should install on Win7 properly.
The forum search function is a good tool to find out if people have asked questions on this partcular problem before. Currently there are issues with running CW under 64-bit Windows 7. See this thread for more information and some work-arounds.
