How to Calculate Chip Temperature for 9s12vr?

I wanted to read the chip temperature for a 9s12vr chip using its internal ADC channels.  I was able to read the ADC counts for the chip temperature and bandgap, but did not know how to convert it to temperature in degree C.  Unable to find the specification for the conversion.  Appreciate if anyone can post the conversion formula.

Hi David,

The temperature sensor has to be calibrated for giving enough accurate results. The offset and slope are specific for every MCU. The selected calibration method depends on required accuracy.
