Derivative could not be unsecured

mc9s12xdp512.  I want to unsecure the mcu, but it failed everytime. But other mcu can be unsecured. Can you tell me is there some way to unsecure or is it broken?

Hi Liu,

Additionally please check whether MCU is correctly powered and gated (XCLKS pin,…).

Please check also BDM cable orientation…

Please touch MCU by finger. When MCU is hot, it is probably damaged...

Hi,

You can unsecure the MCU in CW debugger mode

HCS12MultilinkCyclonePro -> Unsecure

If this doesn’t work, you can use PEmicro Unsecure12 utility.
