Hi Maxxu,

I am afraid there isn’t any official S12Z FreeRTOS support om NXP site.

The FreeRTOS implementation usually requires at least 16kB of RAM – of course it strongly depends on the final application too. I think it could be possible to use the largest S12Z MCU – S12ZVC256 with 32k RAM but we have not the SW example.

I want to recommend you the great source of useful information related to RTOS:

https://mcuoneclipse.com/compendium/#RTOS

http://www.steinerberg.com/EmbeddedComponents/FreeRTOS/

https://mcuoneclipse.com/2012/02/11/back-to-classic-freertos-for-freescale-s12x/

https://mcuoneclipse.com/tag/freertos/

I hope it could help you in your task.

Best Regards,

Stano.
