Hello,
 
I use for developement an S12XDP512 board and I need to use the external trigger for ADC.
 
My question is: ATDCTL2.ETRIGLE = 1 and ATDCTL2.ETRIGP = 0 (low level) means that as long as the external trigger signal is low (0 logic) the conversion is triggered?

Yes, that is correct. You should also ensure that External Trigger Mode is enabled (ATDCTL2.ETRIGE = 1) and that the port to which the trigger is attached is entered to ATDCTL1.
