Simultaneous sampling and the 56F8356

I am a little confused by the literature and have a simple question.

I need to sample 9 signals simultaneously. I know with 56F8356 I can convert 2 samples simultaneously, but I am having a hard time determining how many I can actually sample simultaneously.

It seems like it says only two, but this does not make much sense because I think I see 4 S/H circuits.

So I would like to know how many samples I can take simultaneously. Thank you.

The 56F8356 have two 8-channel ADC's. Each of them can be configured for simultaneous conversion. In this case ADC can capture two different channels at the
same time - i.e. you can run 4 conversion almost simultaneous (for both ADC). "Almost" - because first you need to run conversion one of the ADC, after that second conversion.
