Hi guys,

I continue with my previous problem with sgmii fixed-link on my etsec2.(p1010).

Could you please tell me how to set the tsec_id2 register, the value seen there is 0x00ef00f0

That means that the ethernet reduced mode is off, what is exactly the reduced mode and how to set it.(tsec_id2 is RO),

Thanks

Marc

TSEC_ID2 register is read-only and reflects  the external interface options

available for it's TSEC. eTSEC2 on P1010 has no dedicated pins thus

it is correct that neither full (GMII) nor reduced (RGMII) is available

for it. Software should not attempt to alter this register. eTSEC

register settings for different interface modes are specified in

P1010RM, Table 15-228. A good discussion of SGMII initialization can

be found in in AN3869:

Have a great day,
