Hello,

We are seeing an intermittent case of boot failure.

Most boards do work. But when it does not boot. It throws:

NOTICE: DDR Init Done NOTICE: BL2: v1.5(release):LSDK-19.09-2-ga5d22266c NOTICE: BL2: Built : 17:57:22, Jun 22 2020 NOTICE: BL2: Booting BL31

and stops there.

What could be the problem?

Doublecheck the design referring the QorIQ LS1012A Data Sheet and Design Checklist document.

Using a digital scope ensure that POR levels of all signals corresponds with the requirements of the notes in the Table 1. Pinout list by bus of the LS1012A Data Sheet.

Check power-on supplies ramp rate,  reset signals timings and input clocks behaviour.

Use a debugger to check why the BL31 execution is interrupted.

Pay special attention to the DDR SDRAM operation.

Thanks ufedor‌ do you have any pointers on how to buy one debugger suitable for this?
