Shared Serial_LDD with MQX error message

Hi,

I am just starting to use the stand alone Processor Expert Software 10.3. I have added the MQX component and now I want to add the Serial_LDD.

When I add it as Distinct Component everything is fine but if I add it as a Shared Component I get an error message telling me the Init method must be enabled when the MQX is selected. However the interface wont allow me to change the option to Generate Code for the component.

The Init method is set to generate code in the top level shared options.

Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

I have selected the MK60FX512LQ15 processor

Hi,

I'm not able to reproduce the problem.I have tried to create MQX lite project and added shared Serial_LDD and I can generate code without errors.

Could you please provide more details on steps you do to reproduce the problem ? Also a zipped sample project showing the problem would be helpful.

Hi Petr,

Thank you for looking into this. I created a standard PE project and then added the MQX bean (not the Lite one). Then when I try to add a sheared Serial_LDD component it gives the problem.

We are sorry for an inconvenience, the problem has been classified as a bug and will be fixed in the upcoming Processor Expert update 10.4.1 for the Processor Expert Software Driver Suite 10.4.
