Thank you for your interest. I tried it for both HCS08 and 56F82xx but PE menu is not available in IDE. Also when creating new project there is no device initilaziton selection. I have CW10.1 special editon installed also. It works properly excepting PE License error for HCS08 MCUs. What's wrong with these IDEs?

Hello,
it might be an installer problem as I have seen a similar problem on another machine.
Could you check if following folder is installed on your system (start of path depends on your installation folder):
C:\Freescale\CW MCU v10.2\MCU\ProcessorExpert
Next, could you check if you have any com.freescale.processorexpert.* plugins present in
C:\Freescale\CW MCU v10.2\eclipse\plugins
As for diagnostics: could you attach the fillowing file to this thread:
eclipse\configuration\org.eclipse.equinox.simpleconfigurator\bundles.info
And: what kind of machine are you using? Windows 7 32bit? or 64bit?
Thanks,
BK

The OS is WinXP.
I have reinstalled CW now it appears on menus. But this time when I click generate code it says "Cannot generate - no active project is selected in project panel". If I choose PE when creating project and check add main.c to project, main.c is not created. Similarly for device initialization no mcu_init.c/h file is created. And in the target cpu window it says "no cpu selected". The CW 10.2 special editon contains lots of bugs.

Hello,
Looks like either you do not have a Processor Expert project selected, or you have no Processor Expert project at all in your workspace.
Maybe have a look here:

Hope this helps,
BK
