IMX8qm graphics display on HDMI monitor

Hi NXP,

I want to run sample graphics on IMX8QM to display on HDMI monitor.

I have added package IMAGE_INSTALL_append += "wayland weston"

after this please let me know how to run graphics sample on this like animations..etc

DISTRO=fsl-imx-xwayland MACHINE=imx8qmmek source imx-setup-release.sh -b project/

bitbake core-image-minimal

BSP version i.MX Linux Yocto Project BSP 5.4.47_2.2.0 Release

Please let me know how to run any graphics on this.

I am not able to run graphics on imx8qm.

Please tell me steps to display sample flower or any animation image on imx8qm.

Which bitbake image need to build for graphics weston and wayland to display graphics.

you can choose imx-image-full and xwayland as backend, as I remembered, the qt has an example under /usr/share/qt5/examples/widgets/animation, maybe you can refer to it

you should find the gpu sdk demo under "/opt/imx-gpu-sdk"

I am not able to find demo under /opt/imx-gpu-sdk, after booting linux #/opt/

Please let me know the steps how to display any graphics/images on this imx8qm platform.

As i said i added weston wayland package for this yocto bsp version.

as I mentioned before, the GPU demo is under /opt/imx-gpu-sdk/, maybe you also can refer to the doc as below:
