How to configure a single buffer to receive all CAN messages in PE?

Hello Al,

Am using MC56F84763. I am trying to use CAN in this MC.

Using processor Expert, configured CAN and received particular CAN ID message.

Now, I do not want to configure individual buffer for every CAN ID.

I want to configure a single buffer to receive all CAN messages in PE.

Can anyone please help with this?

Hello,

you can use acceptance mask for filtering of CAN message IDs. See the acceptance mask settings in the CAN component (there are global acceptance mask and individual acceptance masks; details are also available in the reference manual of the MC56F84763). The usage of these acceptance masks depends on the configuration of the FlexCAN device. See the detailed description of the FlexCAN  in the reference manual.
