How do you remove an asynchronous serial component?

I can remove other components, but the asynchronous serial component has the remove option grayed out.

could you be more specific where do you need to remove it from? A project ? Or components library?

I figured it out. If you right click the asynchronous serial component in the hardware view, the delete option is grayed out. You can delete any other kind of component here but asynchronous serial has delete grayed out. In the components menu if you right click on asynchronous serial component there, the delete option isn't grayed out and it works.
