HCS12X and HCS08 cpu beans - Method DELAY100US - Has a undesired side effect

The delay function not only delays, but it also writes to the COP preventing it from timing out.
This happens in PE beans of the CW 4.7 and CW6.2 era.

This is a undesired side effect to a delay, and should be removed.

PE team,
please explain why the delay was programmed like this.

Hi,

I'm sorry, but the original Processor Expert beans are no longer supported. If you need any change to the method, you can copy it into your own module and modify it or you can disable the code generation for the particular file and modify it there.

for HCS08 AND HCS12X,
which CW and PE versions would that be?

What additional improvements and features will I get today
compared to my currently used V6.3 and V4.7.

Cannot say, I do not use CW11.
Open a CW11 project, enable the method, and read the source code.
