Hello Justin_just

Good day!

Unfortunately no, I don't recommend it.

The device was designed for applications up to 75W.

I hope this information has helped you, please let me know if you need help with anything else.

Have a great day and best of luck.

Thank you for the information.
If I use a high-voltage switching MOSFET, can this IC be used for a 120 W SMPS?

Hello Justin_just

Good day!

It could be an option, but I'm still concerned about currents and insulation. Be careful with both aspects.

In my personal opinion, I would recommend changing your device.

TEA1755T – supports higher power and has better gate drive.

I emphasize that the option you want to perform is very likely to cause some failure and damage your project, just change for TEA1755T

I hope this information has helped you, please let me know if you need help with anything else.

Have a great day and best of luck.

Hello team,

i have some doubts and want some clarification regarding TEA1733T ic.

tea1733t ic datasheet:
https://www.nxp.com/docs/en/data-sheet/TEA1733T.pdf

Application notes:

https://www.nxp.com/docs/en/application-note/AN10868.pdf

Fig:1 -This is the reference schematic diagram of TEA1733T IC.

1- My first question is if i want  24v 3 amp as an outpt then what is the value of these resistor R23 and R24 (how these resistors are to be selected),what about R25 and C17?

2- My second question is what is the switching voltage of the MOSFET that fed to the transformer primary side where gate voltage is 10-12V and switching frequency is 66khz?

Thank you.
