MPC8270 Clock of processor core

Hi,

We are trying to know from the software the clock the processor core is running at for this processor:

Processor Version Register (PVR) = 0x80822014 (mpc8270/8280)

I looked at the reference manual but doesn't seem like we have a quick register to read that. From code there appears to be a hardcoded value which is used with multipliers to get the other clock values. Please confirm if there is any register for this ?

I think it is referred as "CLKIN" external input in manuals.

Sorry, the request is not clear.

CLKIN frequency can't be determined by software means.

Core multiplication factor could be read from the SCMR[CORECNF].
