LS1012A SPI clock frequency depends on platform frequency, SPI_CTARn[DBR], SPI_CTARn[PBR] and SPI_CTARn[BR]. SPI clock frequency = platform frequency *((1 + DBR )/(Prescaler * Scaler)). So we can set SPI frequency up to 125MHz*(1+1)/(2*2) = 62.5MHz. Next we have to take into account SPI AC timing specifications for LS1012A and connected SPI slave. For details please see “Calculating the maximum SPI frequency” in the nxp application note
