Hi All,

I am currently working with MPC8360 LTIB. I have plan to move on the latest Linux kernel versions(above version 4.0).

Is there any latest kernel version support or Yocto support is there for MPC8360?

If it is there means, Please provide me the corresponding details and #link.

Thanks & Regards,

Kalaiyarasan

Hi Alexander,

In our project we are using ksz9477 network switch its follows Distributed  Switch Architecture(DSA). (i.e) driver under net/dsa/microchip/  directory. But MPC8360 Kernel didn't have this feature. I tried but its some what complex to integrate this driver with MPC8360 BSP.

It is possible to use any other relevant MPC8XXX LTIB (which have DSA feature) as a template for MPC8360?.

If its possible, please provide me your suggestions, relevant documentation and links.

Regards,

Kalaiyarasan

Sorry, our Linux support for MPC8360 processor is limited to what is provided in our Linux BSP for our MPC8360-based development boards. Any Linux customization such as porting new Linux kernel into this BSP, or adding a support for a new device to this BSP, or porting another BSP for another processor to this MPC8360-based board - is not supported by this online technical support team.
