The TEA19161 is not designed to achieve direct DC-DC conversion without the TEA19162. They are intended to work together to provide a complete and efficient power conversion solution.

We also do not recommend using the TEA19161 with another PFC controller. The TEA19162 is designed to operate in close cooperation with the TEA19161 to ensure optimal burst-mode operation and complementary protection functions.
