The PF1510_GUI_x64_Installer fails with error message that no JRE could be found. The requirements do not mention anything about needing a JRE. What version is needed? Will an Open JDK installation work? If so, what setup (reg keys etc. so installer can find the open JDK installation) is required for it to work? Or does this installer and resulting program need some JAVA browser plugin?

Thank you for the response guoweisun. I was hoping there was a way to use the JRE in OpenJDK. Can you comment on this matter at all?

I understand I only need the JRE. But, as I have said twice now, I want to use the Open version, not the one referenced in the link you sent. Is this possible?

You can refer to below for Installing the Java JRE:
- Download Java JRE (Java SE Runtime Environment), available at http://
www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jre8-downloads-2133155.html
(8u162 or newer).
- Open the installer and follow the installation instructions.
- Following the successful installation, restart the computer.
