I am looking for an explanation between the differences of the date code markings on these 2 parts. I think the Reference datecode XAC1742D was made in 2017, week 42 and the TTE08 XAA2245C was made in 2022, week 45. The 3rd character and the last character are different on each device and I cannot easily find an explanation as to what these characters mean? Is there a document that explains date code markings on these parts? The part labelled TTE08 has been returned from the field this year

Hi,

You are right, for the "XAC1742D", it was manufactured at 2017 year week 42. For the "XAA2245C", it was manufactured at 2022 year week 45.  For the "XAC", "XAA", they are internal code.

Hope it is helpful

Thank you for the feedback. Much appreciated. To complete my query are the last characters D and C on the data codes for internal use only as well?

Hi,

Yes, the last character "C" and "D"  are also internal code, the Chip Revision is only represented by the date code.
