Decoding of ‎MC34VR500V3ES‎ date/lot codes

Can someone point me to the secret decoder ring for date/lot codes marked on ‎MC34VR500V3ES‎ packages?  This is the PMIC for the QorIQ LS1/T1 family of communications processors.

For example what's the difference between 'XAACHC" and 'XAADNA' - I assume these encode place of manufacture, chip revision, manufacture date, etc.

Thanks in advance - I can't find it in the documentation I have.

I have a date code for part number DSP56F803BU80E, date code is XAA2302AM, can NXP confirm this date code?

I have Freescale CBGA part number MC7455A-RX1000LG.  Mask #35K64M and tracability code: QCY0609A.  I am trying to figure out the date of manufacturere and if this is ROHS compliant.

Hi,

Part number of MC34VR500V3ES has five lines of markings. The markings are:

Line 1 = Freescale/NXP Logo

Line 2 = M34VR (Family name)

Line 3 = 500V3ES (family name + OTP Version)

Line 4 = Internal codes used to track manufacturing activities

Line 5 = Pin 1 mark

Regarding the decode details of the marking 'XAACHC’ and 'XAADNA', unfortunately, this is information that we cannot share, but I can tell you what does that means:

The six characters are referenced as AWLYWZ where

A = ASSEMBLY SITE

WL = WAFER LOT NO.

Y = YEAR CODE

W = WORK WEEK CODE

Z = LOT SPLIT

So, taking this in mind, we know that both PIMCs are from the same assembly site, same wafer lot no., different manufactured date, and different lot split.

'XAACHC’ = 2015, week 8

'XAADNA' = 2015 week 40

I hope this helps.

Regards,

Jose
