Hello. How does the TEA2209T behave with a 24V DC input? Will the GATEHL and GATELR pins be driven HIGH?

Hello Sankalp,

The TEA2209T will likely not drive the GATEHL and GATELR pins HIGH with a constant 24V DC input. While 24V is technically above the minimum internal "charge state" threshold, the device is designed specifically for AC to DC rectification and relies on voltage zero-crossings to operate its internal logic and supply charging.

The TEA2209T will likely not drive the GATEHL and GATELR pins HIGH with a constant 24V DC input. While 24V is technically above the minimum internal "charge state" threshold, the device is designed specifically for AC to DC rectification and relies on voltage zero-crossings to operate its internal logic and supply charging.
