P1021 NAND Flash Interface

Hi,

I am trying to understand the maximum size of NAND Flash that can be interfaced with P1021. As per the reference manual there are two kinds of page size supported

• Small page NAND Flash (528 Bytes - 512 bytes as main region and 16 bytes as spare region)
• Large page NAND Flash (2112 bytes - 2048 bytes as main region and 64 bytes as spare region)

I intend to connect 1GB NAND Flash but it has  page size of 4320 bytes (4096 as main region + 224 bytes as spare region). Please let me know if it is possible to interface chips which have larger page size then the one Ref Manual mentions.

Hi,

I am afraid not mentioning larger size in the reference manual is not support, it's not possible to interface 4K page size NAND to FCM.
