Hi

we are developing the LS1043A processor. and booting option is eMMC .

LS1043A support eMMC up to rev 4.4/4.5, but eMMC 4.4 and 4.5 has been discontinued and some 4.4 and 4.5 eMMC component  is obsolete. If I should use the 5.0 or upper version eMMC, on what basis I can select high version of eMMC?

if i select the higher version how to use the data strobe pin?

The LS1043a eSDHC can use this eMMC, since eMMC devices version 5.0 and higher are backward compatible to previous versions.

The Data strobe signal is used in HS400mode. The LS1043a does not support this mode.

There is internal pull-up on reset in eMMC ver 5.0 and 5.1.

It is not necessary to put pull-up resistance on RST_n (H/W rest) line if host does not use H/W reset.

Yes, the LS1043a eSDHC supports HS200 mode. See the Section 22.1.1 in the LS1043a Reference Manual.
