Hi all,
I am having issues with connecting to my CodeWarrior TAP using CCS.
0: USB open failure
There are no command converters configured
I found the resolution document and I have tried all steps. I made the empty 80-net-name-slot.rules file. I can see the TAP when executing findcc cwtaps.
I can see the TAP in dmesg
It has an ip address
And I can ssh into it
So it should be connected right? No...
When checking with ccs
I get the USB open failure. How do I resolve this?
Solved! Go to Solution.
Please refer to the attached workaround to use CodeWarrior TAP USB connection in Linux OS.
That does not change anything. Any other tips?
Please provide the step by step result according to document Resolution.docx
Hey,
If you look at my main post it already contains screenshots of the stuff asked/checked in your document.
Just out of curiosity - have you managed to solve this issue?
Please refer to my document.
Please provide step 4 and step 5 results according to my document.
You need to use CodeWarrior TAP Ethernet configuration as the workaround, please use the IP address of CWTAP usb0 ethernet interface.
