We testing the fault conditions of the CAN driver IC (TJA1055T). When we generate a short between the CANL and CANH lines (failure 7) with a 10k resistor the IC functionaly working properly so shut off the CANL line, (pull up)
but the measured current is more than the specified typical value: 75uA. The datasheet of the IC not defining limits for this current value (Ipu(RTL)). We are measuring 90-120 uA on the shunt resistor (10k) depending from the inspected board. What you think? Is it normal?
Thanks in advance!
