Hi.
I am writing to NXP to try to reach the TDA 7703 Communication Protocol information. I am searching for this information around five months, with no success. I don’t understand why such component, consider as “obsolete” have so many secrets to us, it is not a “Nuclear Bomb Activator Device” but yes, a simple AM/FM tuner IC. I recently got a tuner module at Aliexpress, to use in a particular clock development for my use only, and I cannot conclude the development because I simple don’t find this information of a such “obsolete” part. As STmicroelectronics refuses to give the information, once that they say that it belongs to NXP, my last hope is that somebody with reasonable understanding in NXP could help me. I do really appreciate to receive this information. By the way, there are lots of Chinese companies that are producing car radios with this IC, I am not sure about how they find this protocol communication information, but I guess they hook a digital protocol analyzer and read the information. I don’t want to do this, and I am sure that NXP will help me with this simple quest.
I really cant see any harm to NXP or ST with this home development!
