SC16IS762 ttySCx not found under /dev/ directory

Hi teams,

Questions

I have installed driver SC16IS7xx.ko under ubuntu 20.04 in Nvidia orin nx board.
However, I can't find any ttySCx serial port under /dev/tty* directory.
I have no idea about the cause of this case. I am not sure how the driver works to install the serial port to the /dev/ directory.

Have you found a solution for this?  I have the exact same problem with a SC16IS752.  I have an Orin NX on Auvidea JNX42 carrier

I hope all is great with you. Thank you for using the NXP communities.

In this case, I can share a Linux driver for the SC16IS750 (single channel UART) even if SC16IS752 (two channel UART),but they are similar.

Please review the file attached to this response, you may find the drivers for both the I2C interface and the SPI interface for the SC16IS750 device.

For hardware review please also refer to the attached schematic.
