SA604

I would like to use SA604A for FM demodulation. I have FM modulated signal at 2.4MHz. Can i give directly to IF AMP -IN (pin-16) and then from IF AMP -OUT(pin-14) to pin-12 through 2.4MHz filter.

Can I get FM demodulated signal from pin-6 (audio out)? Also RSSI?

FM signal at 2.4MHz can be demodulated using SA604A as described. Typical data rate is up to 100kbit/s.

Pin 7 (UNMUTE_AUD_OUTP) can be used for demodulated FM data stream. Pin 6 has similar function, but, it is more suitable for audio output since it support muting.

RSSI signal can be used to control the level of the input signal or to demodulate ASK signal.
