Question, SC16IS752/SC16IS762 crystal

Dear team,

Let me ask about crystal of SC16IS752 and SC16IS762.
According to its datasheet, it says that one should use 1. 8432MHz or 3.072MHz crystal for the chip.
Is it possible to use other frequency crystal for the chips?
Of course, one should consider the UART boud-rate should be changed according to the frequency of crystal, i think.
