I am working with a OnOffSwitch application (with Non Volatile Memory and with router role)that I get direcltly from the Beekit using Beestack Codebase 3.0.1. I load it in a MC1322x Sensor Node. I have not made any modications in the code get from the beekit, however it doesn´t work properly after I make a reset.
When I switch on the MC1322x Sensor Node for the first time after loading the code, it associates correctly with the coordinator, however after making a reset, the device has the led 1 blinking, and although I press the button 1 it remains blinking, it doesn´t make anything and it is imposible to rejoin with the coordinator. What is happening?
With a SARD board and codebase 2.0.0, it works properly, why not with MC1322x Sensor Node and codebase 3.0.1 ?
I am also interested in other codebase versions for the ZigBee, MAC and SMAC codebases.
The last few days I had tested the beacon functionality with the MAC codebase. To start
a non-beaconed network isn't a problem. The MAC codebase contains a example project to start and run a non-beaconed network. But for a beacon netwok there is no example project.
When I follow the instructcions to start a beacon network in the 802.15.4 MAC MyWirelessApp User's Guide and the 802.15.4 -2003 specifications The beacon network doens't work correctly. Have someone of you experience with a beacon network for the Freescale mc13224 platforms?
In response to: Jan2 regarding beacon enabled PAN using ARM7 MAC codebase 2.0.0
Same here. Have you had any luck in solving this? I'm getting heaps of SYNC_LOSS indications with reason PAN Conflict (but there's only one coordinator and one device in my system).
sorry michael, i didn't solve this
if you wish send me a private e-mail tpicon@scenario.ind.br

Has anyone created a working network with beaconing on MC13224 platform? According to documentation, there is no way to do that using freescale's MAC library
On the Freescale website there is finally the codebase 3.0.2 for MC1322x v 2.0
This this the last codebase useful for this chip version and should solve some problem of previous codebase version.
Hi, I created a group about MC1322x and ZigBee. If you want, you can I join it.
Hi Elisa
Nowadays i'm working with codebase 3.0.3 but the problem still happens. If you wish we can talk about via e-mail
My e-mail is tpicon@scenario.ind.br
Regards....
Freescale support has told me that it appears that codebase 3.0.1 for ARM7 has an error. If the MC1324 Silicon version of your chip is 2.0 you should upgrade from 3.0.1 to 3.0.2. If the version is 2.1 you should upgrate to 3.0.3 (From silicon rev 2.0 to rev 2.1 ROM changes were made, and then the drivers have changed for new rev 2.1)
My Silicon rev is 2.0, but I don´t have the codebase 3.0.2 because it isn´t avalaible in the web. So I have not checked this solution. I am waiting a reply from freescale support to get the codebase 3.0.2
tpicon, which is the silicon rev of your chip? (you may see it in the printed part number of the chip)
On the Freescale website there is finally the codebase 3.0.2 for MC1322x v 2.0
This this the last codebase useful for this chip version and should solve some problem of previous codebase version.
In my kits i have the silicon revision 2.0
I understood the problem now...i didn't know about the codebase 3.0.2. Thanks
Anyway, i think that we can change ideas (talk about) about ZigBee because i don't know anyone more that works with this platform in my town or state...
If you wish my e-mail is tpicon@scenario.ind.br

I have the same problem...
At the moment i can't solve this but i'm trying...
This forum is very calm...If you wish we can change ideas...
My e-mail is tpicon@scenario.ind.br
