Hi
I am planning to use your #MMZ09332BT1 RF AMP in a new design.
Would it be possible to change the bias voltage or any of the VCC's voltage to manipulate the gain but keep the amp out of any saturation points? (I basically want to make an ALC for different power levels , EG low, medium and high power)
If so is there possibly some information regarding voltage to gain ration?
Regards
Anton
MMZ09332BT1 is not suitable for variable gain application.
Gate bias current value is set to provide best linearity of the amplifier. If you reduce gate bias current, small signal gain will go down but the large signal gain will not change. So, the power gain versus output power will not be linear.
If you alter drain bias voltage, the amplifier would require different impedance matching network.
My suggestion is to use MMT20303H Digital Step Attenuator or BGA7204 variable gain amplifier to alter the gain.

Have a great day,
