PCAL6416AHF (HWQFN24 package thermal pad connection)

QFN24 package "exposed thermal pad" ... there is no information on whether this can / should / shouldn't be connected to GND.

I'm assuming it would be ok, but want to check.

Any issue with connecting the center pad to GND for PCAL6416AHF?

Hi Glenn,

The exposed pad underneath the PCAL6416AHF (HWQFN24) is not internally connected to any pin. It can be left floating, but for better thermal performance it is recommended to connect it to the GND.
