LS2088 Programming interface

Hi, We are wanted to know which is the interface which we will be using to flash the binaries from the HOST PC to EVK. The flex-installer we notice that it can flash to SD/MMC /SATA. But how it will be flashed what is the interface to be connected to the PC and what is the interface in the EVK (USB/JTAG). Please let us know if any document is avilable. We checked the LSDK user guide but we are not able to find any information regarding the interface which will be used in the target board for programming. Can the flex-installer flash the Binary to the QSPI or only manual flashing is supported to boot from QSPI. Please reply ASAP. Thank you, Deepanraj.A

The debug interface is described in the AN4977 - QorIQ LS2088A Family Design Checklist, 7.22 JTAG recommendations.

No.

Flex-installer is capable to deploy LSDK images on a target board storage device (SD, USB, or SATA).

CodeWarrior Flash Programmer has to be used to program firmware image into an on-board Flash device:

For using CodeWarrior Flash Programmer License is required or is it free for Programming .

But evaluation version is fully functional for one month.

How do we partition emmc / program rootfs using the codewarrior or is there separate method to programm emmc. Please share us if any document is available.

layout wise we are able to understand but how do we program the emmc with the Linux image and rootfs.

whether we can parition the emmc using the codewarrior or only manual command from uboot. Please let us know in detail
